Notice Anything Different?

Simple Changes Make for Effective Games

Observation skills are easy to develop, especially when everyone's having fun doing it. "Change Three Things" is a quick, succinct game that allows students to look more closely at each other's appearance.

1. Arrange the students into pairs.

2. Have the pairs face each other.

3. Give them one minute to observe each other.

4. Ask everyone to turn around.  They have one minute to change three things about their appearance.  For example, pulling up a sleeve, moving a ring, or untying a shoe.

5. Encourage player to make one big change, one medium change, and one minor change.

6. Invite partners to turn around and guess what changed about their partner's appearance.
