LitART for Middle and High School

Media Literacy is a perfect focus for older students in after school programs.

More and more after school programs have begun to see that middle school and high school students only attend programs that keep them engaged.  They vote with their feet.

LitART CLASS, CHOICE, and REAL have each proven to be effective in providing a framework and curriculum that works with middle and high school students.

CLASS features media literacy activities where students analyze advertising in popular magazines, for example.  CHOICE examines 192 people and concepts in six areas.  REAL serves as the basis for book clubs that use performances as projects.
