LitART Training Institutes
LitART Training Institutes "kick-off" new partnerships and programs. Staff are introduced to the purpose of each LitART component, how children learn to read, key literacy concepts, and LitART learning strategies.
LitART Theme Training
Follow-up theme training prepares staff to deliver the next LitART theme. The theme trainings focus on the picture books, novels, and activities associated with the upcoming theme to ensure all staff are fully prepared to maximize student engagement with books.
LitART Onsite Support Visits
LitART staff conduct demonstrations and observations using the 100 indicators of after school quality. Easy to use observation checklists are used to assess staff progress download. After school staff receive timely, individualized feedback, suggestions, and goal setting support.

The LitART Training notebook ensures that all teachers learn:
