Reading Fluency

The HELP Program builds reading fluency through repeated readings of the story. Bo Bug's reading fluency strategies include Read Aloud, Echo Reading, Missing Word Reading, Shared Reading, and Independent Guided Reading.

Students will:

  • Build their sight word vocabulary
  • Increase their reading rate
  • Improve their reading accuracy
  • Read with greater expression

Fluency improves reading comprehension. See the Comprehension page.
